In our most personal, intimate and REVELATORY episode yet, Geoff dives into JT’s relationship to anxiety, anger and masculinity. We identify Light and Shadow (toxic) versions of each of those characteristics that may actually be very useful to you!

Intro!

Wanna use actual Magickal energy work to make “just touching grass” a tangible benefit to your life?

Let’s set up a crystal as a fish tank filter that sucks up corruption and spits out Love!

And remember. Love is civilization’s drain-o. It clears the pipes that connect the nodes on the Net of Indra. So this energy work is actually a net benefit to society too!

The Net of Indra is a Buddhist concept with socialist undertones: we’re all connected through a sort of Chaos Theory causality that can be conceptualized as fibers in a huge fisherman’s net. At each intersection of fibers, there’s one of us. There’s a jewel that is perfectly unique while also containing within it a reflection of every other jewel.

Scum covers that net in the form of broken systems with misaligned incentives piloting hurt people into hurting people. You’re going to pick that up on your aura just moving around.

So get yourself a black crystal—I’m using shungite, but onyx, obsidian, et cetera will work too. You want a piece that can be worn or carried everywhere. Then find some sunny grass, put your crystal on it, and say the following.

Sucking crystal, vacuum vile

Miasmic filth away a while.

Scum, corruption, tainted Qi:

Draw them far away from me.

Vault, secure, your growing load,

Wait for nature’s cleansing glow.

As you say that little poem, imagine the crystals just totally slurping up pondscum from your aura. Know that even when you stop visualizing it, the Magick will continue to operate.

This is going to drain away the sorts of painful emotions that don’t contribute to our Highest Selves’ purposes for incarnating. It’s going to absorb your ineffective habitual behavioral reactions to anger and anxiety and emit the sort of self-love that allows for deep vulnerability and true connection.

When you feel your fish tank filter getting too dirty (which might be more than once a day at first, while you clean out the backed up bad vibes) set it on that sunny grass again. Visualize the sun’s heat—and the green-flame-grass-leaves—that are licking the crystal transforming it from dark to light. Say the following three times:

I am word through this crystal, word I am word.

I am word through the energy it has absorbed, word I am word.

I am word through the release of all that which does not serve my highest good.

Then charge it again with the rhyming poem and boombam! You’ve just ratcheted the power of touching up about a thousand levels!

Not this time…
